Welcome to Open Ego. The website openego.in is owned and operated by Wiseorigins Aromatika LLP. Open Ego is a trademark of Wiseorigins Aromatika LLP. Throughout these Terms, the words we, us and our refer to Wiseorigins Aromatika LLP, operating as Open Ego.

1. Overview

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from us, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including the additional policies referenced here (Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access the website or use our services. We may update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to this page; your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Eligibility and general conditions

Our services may be used only by persons who can form legally binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts where these conditions are not met. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission. By registering or placing an order you consent to being contacted by us by phone, SMS, email or messaging for order, service and promotional communications; you may opt out of promotional communication at any time. Payment card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

3. Our products and natural variation

We strive to keep product descriptions accurate, complete and current, but we do not guarantee that descriptions, colours or other content are error-free. Our fragrances and offerings are composed from natural botanical ingredients and made in small batches. Colour, texture and scent may therefore vary from batch to batch and may evolve over time; such variation is a mark of natural craft, not a defect.

Sensitivity note: fragrance and personal-care products contain concentrated botanical ingredients. Patch-test on a small area of skin before full use and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Use incense, dhoops and aerosols as directed on the label, away from flammable materials, and keep all products out of the reach of children.

4. Prices and modifications

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. We may modify or discontinue any product, service or content without notice, and shall not be liable for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation. Promotional offers and discounts are at our sole discretion and may be limited, amended, or withdrawn at any time.

5. Availability

Certain products may be available in limited quantities. We endeavour to display product colours accurately, but cannot guarantee your screen's rendering. We reserve the right to limit quantities, restrict sales to any person or region, and to refuse orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

6. Payments and billing

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all orders. Payments on this site are processed by secure third-party payment gateways (including Razorpay) and are governed by the terms of the gateway and of your issuing bank. We are not responsible for payment failures arising from lack of authorisation, exceeded card limits, technical glitches during a transaction, or declines for reasons beyond our control.

7. Prohibited uses

You may not use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose; to infringe our or others' intellectual property; to harass, abuse or defame; to submit false or misleading information; to upload malicious code; to collect personal information of others; to spam, scrape or crawl; or to interfere with the security features of the site. We may terminate your use of the Service for violating any prohibited use.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service and all products delivered through it are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except as required by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wiseorigins Aromatika LLP and its partners, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or products purchased through it. Our total liability in respect of any event or series of connected events shall not exceed the amount invoiced for the products concerned.

This site may contain links to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for their content or accuracy and accept no liability for any transaction you enter into with a third party. Please review their policies before transacting.

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or other materials, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free right to use them in any medium, without obligation of confidentiality or compensation. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of anything you submit.

These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by you or by us. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms; obligations incurred prior to termination survive it.

17. Governing law

These Terms and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the State of Karnataka, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, India. Any claim relating to this site must be commenced within 12 months of the cause of action arising.

18. Grievance redressal

If you have questions or grievances regarding the site or its contents, write to our Grievance Officer at care@openego.in. We aim to address complaints within five (5) working days.

19. Use outside India

We make no representation that materials on this site are appropriate or available for use outside India. If you access the site from other locations, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
